Rushing back to the bakery, Jack apologized profusely to the baker for his forgetfulness. With a twinkle in his eye, the baker handed Jack a fresh chocolate croissant and said, "Consider it a delicious reminder, my friend."

Grateful and slightly red-faced, Jack savored the treat and finally paid for both croissants. From that day on, Jack made it a habit to write important things down and use reminders to avoid any more forgetful adventures during his travels.
